Our group is set up in Kishanpura, right near the bus stand in Partap Nagar. It’s a busy little area with people coming and going all the time. Being near the bus stand makes it easy for the farmers from the surrounding fields to stop by when they are heading into town. Partap Nagar Farmers Producer Company Limited isn't a huge operation. It’s mostly a place where we can get together and handle the business side of our farming. We see a lot of traffic and hear the buses throughout the day, which is quite different from being deep in the fields. We’ve been here for a bit now, and most of the locals know the spot. It’s a practical location. We keep things straightforward. There’s no need for anything decorative or formal. We talk about the wheat, the rice, and whatever else is growing that season. Sometimes the power goes out, or the phone line acts up, but we just deal with it. It’s a regular part of running a business in this area. We focus on the practical stuff like getting the right supplies or checking on the transport for the harvest. People drop in to share news about the weather or to see what the latest rates are. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We are just local farmers trying to make the process a bit simpler for everyone nearby. Our doors are usually open if someone needs to talk about the harvest.
