Bedi Computers

Bedi Computers is tucked away in Chauraha Bazar in Gurdaspur, not too far from Gurudwara Kand Sahib. Being so close to the Gurudwara means there are always people around, which is nice for business. We’ve been at this location for a while, dealing with all sorts of computer issues that people bring in. It's a small shop and honestly, there are parts and cables everywhere you look. We try to clear the counter every morning, but by noon it’s covered in keyboards or old monitors again. We do a lot of repairs and sometimes sell whatever parts we can get our hands on. It’s mostly local people from Gurdaspur coming in because their laptop stopped turning on or they need a new mouse. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us tinkering with motherboards in the back. Sometimes it takes us longer than we’d like to fix something because we're waiting on a specific part to arrive from out of town. The shop can get a bit cramped when three or four customers come in at once. We don’t have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People usually just stand around and talk while we work. It’s a simple living and it keeps us busy from morning until the market shuts down in the evening. We just do our best with what we have here and hope it helps people out.
