Vijay Ganapati General Merchant is based right here at Dr.No.7-34 in Narasaraopet. We are situated on Palanadu Road, which is a pretty active part of the Guntur District. If you have ever been down this road, you know there is always something going on. Our shop isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to keep the business going. We spend a lot of our time organizing the stock and talking to the people who stop by. It’s a local operation, nothing corporate about it at all. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and start the day. The heat in Guntur can be a bit much in the summer months, so we usually have the fans going full blast. People around here call us by name and we know most of the families that live nearby. It’s been that way for a long time at this address. We don't use any fancy systems, just a simple way of doing things that works for us and the customers. Palanadu Road gets quite noisy during the peak hours with all the traffic, but we are used to the sound by now. It feels like home to us. We just focus on keeping the shelves full and making sure everything is in its place. It’s a basic life but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without fail.
