Valiveru Cetrus Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over at 2-120B in Valiveru, which is a small spot in the Guntur district. Most of what we do involves the citrus crops grown around here. It's a specific kind of work that takes a lot of patience. The trees don't grow overnight and neither does the business. We use this little office to keep track of the bins and the trucks that come through during the picking season. It can get pretty chaotic when all the fruit arrives at once, but we manage to get it sorted. We aren't some big city company with a lot of money to spend on fancy things. Our money goes into the tools and the crates we need. The building is simple and has been there for years. We know everyone in the neighborhood and they know us. Sometimes we sit outside when the weather is nice to talk to the drivers. We don't have a big marketing plan. We just want to make sure the fruit gets where it needs to go and that the people growing it get a fair shake. It is a lot of long hours during the peak times, but we don't mind the work. It feels good to be part of the community here in Valiveru. We just keep our heads down and do the daily tasks that need doing. It's a decent way to make a living for a few local folks.
