Uma Devi Pasumarthy

Uma Devi Pasumarthy here. I’m based out of Guntur, specifically around the H O area near 522002. My work day usually starts quite early because there’s always something waiting for me on my desk. Guntur is a busy city and the heat can get to be a bit much during the summer months. I’ve been running things from this same spot for a good while now. It’s not a big team here, just a few of us making sure everything gets done properly. We don’t have a fancy office with glass walls or modern art. Just some wooden desks, a lot of paper folders, and a phone that rings much more than I’d like it to. I prefer keeping things simple and direct. When someone asks for help, we just do what we can to assist them. Sometimes things take a bit longer than I first expected because that’s just how life goes. I don’t believe in making promises I can’t keep. The neighborhood around 522002 is very familiar to me since I grew up not too far from here. It feels right to have my work set up in Guntur. People often drop by without calling first, which is perfectly fine with me. I usually have some files open on my table and a pen behind my ear. It might look a bit cluttered, but I know where every single paper is hidden. We don't use much technology. It’s more about the actual work and getting it finished.
