About Swamy Narayan Dall Mill – Food & Beverages in Guntur
We are located out at 151/A on Ananthavarapadu Road in Etukuru Village. It is a bit out of the main way, but the road is usually okay for the trucks. The mill has been running here for many years. We spend our time taking raw pulses and turning them into dall. It is loud and there is a lot of dust from the grains, but you get used to it after a while. My father started this place, and I have been here since I was a young man. We don't have any big corporate offices or fancy uniforms. It is just a few of us wearing our work clothes and making sure the machines are greased and running right. Sometimes a motor burns out or a belt snaps, and then everything stops until we can get it fixed. Those are the stressful days. But usually, it is just the steady sound of the machines. We work with local farmers who bring their harvest to us. It feels good to be part of that cycle. The village is quiet, and we like the pace here. We don't have a big sign, just the mill building that everyone knows. If you are coming down Ananthavarapadu Road, you will see us. We focus on doing the work properly and keeping the place going for the next generation. It is just a simple dall mill, nothing more.
