We’ve been operating Crane Betel Nut Powder Works for quite a while now. Our place is on Sampath Nagar Main Road, and it’s a pretty busy spot. You can’t miss it if you’re driving through. We spend most of our time dealing with the nuts, drying them, and then grinding them down into powder. It’s a noisy process because the machines are old and loud, but they get the job done. The air is always a bit dusty, so we keep the windows open when we can. Sampath Nagar Main Road is a good location for us because the trucks can pull right up to the front. We don't have a fancy office or any plush chairs. It’s just a lot of concrete floors and heavy machinery. We are a small team and most of us have been here for years. We know the rhythm of the work. Some days we have more orders than we can handle, and other days we’re just doing maintenance on the grinders. Crane Betel Nut Powder Works is a name people around here recognize. We don't do much in the way of selling ourselves; the product just goes out to the shops and people buy it. The building itself has seen better days, maybe needs a coat of paint, but it’s sturdy. We like the routine of it all. Working on the main road means we see a lot of people passing by, which keeps things interesting. It is a simple business but it keeps us all very busy.
