Srinivasa Stores

Started Srinivasa Stores in Kakani Nagar a long time back. We’re right at 2-589-6. It’s just a regular shop where people from the neighborhood come to pick up things they need for their houses. Most days it’s busy in the mornings when everyone is out getting milk or groceries. We try to keep the shelves stocked with the usual stuff like lentils, rice, soaps, and snacks. If we don’t have something today, we usually get it in by next week. It’s not a big fancy supermarket or anything. Just a small place with narrow aisles. Sometimes the boxes are stacked a bit high because the delivery just came in and we haven’t had time to move them yet. My family helps out behind the counter when it gets crowded. We know most of the faces that walk through the door by name. It’s nice living and working in the same area. The floor is concrete and maybe needs a bit of a scrub, but it works for what we do. People stop by to chat while they wait for their change. Nothing stays on the shelf too long, so everything is pretty fresh. We open early and close when the street lights have been on for a while. If you’re around Kakani Nagar, you’ve probably seen the sign. It’s nothing special, just a place to get your shopping done without a fuss. We keep the receipts in a drawer and do our counting at night. That's pretty much it.
