Sri Vishnu Rice Merchant

We are located over at 5/874/1 in the Nagarampalem area. It is a busy spot but we try to keep things organized inside. Most of the day is spent checking the stock and making sure the rice is clean of stones and dirt. We get our supplies from different places depending on the season. Sometimes the quality changes and we have to tell our customers which batch is better for boiling or making idli batter. It is just me and a couple of helpers here. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of rice husks that we sweep up every evening before locking up the heavy metal shutters. People around here call us when they have a wedding or a big function because they know we have enough bags stored in the back. The space is a bit cramped with all the stacks reaching up to the ceiling. We use a small desk in the corner to keep track of who owes what in a notebook. It’s nothing special to look at from the outside, just a regular shopfront with a sign board that has faded a bit in the sun. We don't spend much money on decorations because that doesn't change what is inside the bag. If you are looking for us, look for the stack of empty gunny bags outside the door. There is no need to call ahead, someone is usually here.
