Sri Sarojamma Enterprise

You can find us over on Market Street at Door No.16/369. Being on Market Street means it is always crowded and there is always someone shouting or a bike honking nearby. Our shop is tucked in between a few others, and it’s been there for quite some time now. We handle a bit of everything and the space is usually filled with boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a big delivery, but we manage. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. The street outside is usually a mess of people and carts, especially in the mornings when everyone is setting up. We like the energy of it, though. It keeps you on your toes. We don’t have those fancy business goals or slogans like other places do. We just open the doors, help the people who come in, and try to make a living. The walls are a bit faded and the floor has some cracks, but it’s a working space, not a showroom. We spend our time checking orders and making sure the counts are right. It’s honest work and we’ve lived in this neighborhood long enough that we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Sometimes the afternoon heat makes the shop a bit stuffy, but we just open the back door and keep working until everything is finished.
