Sri Rice Traders

Our place is situated on the first floor at 3-2-145, right on the Main Road in Brodipet, near the 4th Lane. Since we're on the first floor, we end up carrying things up and down the stairs quite a bit, which is a good workout if nothing else. We're rice traders, which means we don't mill the rice ourselves, but we handle the buying and selling of it. The office usually has little bags of rice samples sitting on the tables. We spend most of our time on the phone talking to different suppliers and people looking to buy. Brodipet is a very busy area, so there's always a lot of noise and movement right outside our window. We've been in this spot for a while now. It's not a big corporate setup at all. It's just a small office with a couple of basic tables and some chairs for guests. We have to keep track of the market prices every single day. Rice prices tend to change a lot, so we have to stay focused on that. We don't have a marketing budget or any big signs to attract people. Most of our business comes from word of mouth and people who've known us for years. We try to be very straightforward. If the rice quality is good, we tell people that. If there's a delay, we're honest about it. It's just us doing our daily work.
