Sri Jaganadha Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located at 1-63 in I.S. Jaganadhapuram, which is in the Lakkavaram area of West Godavari. This is a very green part of the country. We have plenty of water here compared to other places, which is a blessing. Our company is just a group of local farmers from around Lakkavaram. We grew up here and our fathers were farmers too. We started Sri Jaganadha so we could have more say in how our crops are sold. Usually, the middle men take a big cut, so we are trying to change that by working together. The office is a simple place where we store some of our stuff and keep our records. It’s not very big, but it works for us. We spend most days checking on the paddy or the fruit trees. West Godavari soil is good, but it still takes a lot of sweat to get a good yield. We talk about the prices in the market every day. Sometimes we share a tractor if someone's machine is broken. It’s like a big family really. We don't have a lot of rules, just that everyone works hard and helps the group. We aren't experts in business, but we know how to grow things. If you come to the village, anyone can point you to our spot. We are just normal people trying to do right by our land. There is always someone at the office if you need a chat.
