Sri Gayatri Book Centre

Sri Gayatri Book Centre is tucked away at 6-19-107 on the 2nd Lane, just off the Main Road. It’s a handy spot because everyone passes by the Main Road eventually. We’ve been operating from this address for quite a while now. The shop is narrow, but it goes back a long way. We have shelves lining both walls from front to back. It’s mostly filled with textbooks and guides for exams, which is what most people around here are looking for. We get a lot of students coming in after school hours, so it gets pretty busy in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is usually quieter, giving us time to restock and clean up. We don't have a big staff, just myself and a younger cousin who helps out. The 2nd Lane is a bit quieter than the Main Road, which is nice when you want to actually hear what the customer is saying. We don't use any fancy computers to ring things up. We just use a calculator and give a paper receipt. It’s worked for us so far. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the back door, so we have to be careful where we put the cardboard boxes. It’s an old building, but it serves its purpose.
