Sri Aditya Spices

We’ve been here at Plot No. 1-81 in Nallapadu for a while now. It’s just a regular spot where we get things done every day. The morning starts early around here when the trucks pull in with the raw materials. We spend most of our time sorting through the different spices that come through the doors. It gets a bit dusty and the smell of chili and turmeric is always hanging in the air, but you get used to it after the first week. Nallapadu isn't a huge place so everyone kind of knows where the unit is. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just some desks and the packing area where the real work happens. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the afternoon fixing a conveyor belt, but that’s just how it goes when you’re running a small operation. Most of the staff live nearby and walk or bike over. We just focus on getting the bags filled and loaded out onto the trucks before the sun goes down. It’s not a complicated life. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and try to make sure nothing gets left behind in the warehouse. There’s always a lot of noise from the neighbors and the road, but inside we just stick to the routine of grinding and sealing. It's honest work and we've been doing it this way since we opened up.
