Shivaraj Masala And Grains is located at 15-7-42 in Vinoba Nagar. We are very close to the Vinayak Temple, so we often hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day. Our shop is filled with big open sacks of different grains like rice and dal, and also a lot of ground spices. The floor is made of concrete and it usually has some spilled grain on it because we are always weighing things out for people. We don't have any air conditioning, so we just leave the front door wide open to let the breeze in from the street. Vinoba Nagar is a friendly place, and we know most of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes they stop for a chat while we are stitching up the bags. It is a simple life here, just moving heavy sacks around and making sure the spice levels are right. We use old scales that have been here for years because they still work just fine. The ceiling is high and has a few cobwebs in the corners that we can't quite reach. We don't mind it much because it feels like a real workspace. Being near the temple means it gets very busy on festival days, but otherwise, it is just a steady pace of work. We are just a local grain and spice shop doing our thing every day in the neighborhood. We hope to stay here for many more years to come and keep serving the folks around here.
