S R L Cotton Side

You can find us at 10 R K Street. We are right in the Choutra Center area of Chilakaluripet. This town has a lot going on with cotton, and we are right in the middle of it. The street is usually narrow and crowded with bikes and people walking. Our shop is just a regular building among many others. Inside, it smells like raw cotton, which is something you get used to after a few days. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not a clean job, as bits of fluff get everywhere, on your clothes and in your hair. We have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving, but it still gets warm. Usually, the morning is our busiest time when the market is waking up. We talk to a lot of different people every day, mostly regulars who have been coming to this area for years. There is no fancy sign out front, just the name so people know they are at the right place. We just try to get the work done without too much fuss. It is a long day sometimes, but that is how it goes when you run a place like this in Chilakaluripet. We just keep at it day after day. Most of the time it is just the two of us handling everything from the stock to the customers.
