Rishi General Store

We are located at 6-28-47 on Undavalli Road in Amaravati. It is a small general store, and we have been here for several years now. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things, from soap to snacks and household items. There is not much room to move around when more than two people are inside at once. I try to keep the shelves organized, but things always seem to get mixed up by the end of the day. The road outside is usually quite dusty, so I have to spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and the jars. People from the neighborhood stop in mostly in the evenings on their way home. It’s a lot of small talk about the weather or how the local traffic is getting worse lately. I don’t have a big team helping me, it’s mostly just me and sometimes my nephew comes by to help with the heavy crates. The fan in the ceiling squeaks a bit when it's on high, but it keeps us cool during the hot afternoons. We have a small TV behind the counter that usually plays the news while I wait for the next person to walk in. It’s a simple life running a store like this. I know most of my regulars by name and what they usually buy before they even ask for it. It stays busy enough to keep me occupied.
