New Amravati Spices

Our place, New Amravati Spices, is located at Plot 8/23 in Vengamamba Estates. It's on Ethukur Road, not too far from the Anjaneya Swamy Statue. We started this because we knew the area needed a place for spices. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but once you find the statue, you’re basically there. We spend most of our mornings unloading sacks from the trucks. The dust gets everywhere, to be honest, and we are constantly sweeping it up. We aren't some massive factory with robots; it’s just us doing the grinding and the bagging by hand. The building is just a standard plot, nothing special to look at from the outside. We’ve had some rainy days where the road gets a bit muddy, but we keep the doors open anyway because the work doesn't stop. We don't have a marketing department or fancy brochures to give out. We just write the prices on a board and talk to the people who come in. Most of our day is spent making sure the batches look okay. If something doesn't look right, we don't sell it. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and lifting heavy bags, which can be tiring. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but we still feel like the same small operation we were at the start. We just want to keep things moving and make sure everyone has what they need for their cooking.
