Nageswara Rice Mill

If you look behind the police station in Piduguralla, you’ll find Nageswara Rice Mill at house number 7/151. It’s been there for quite a long time. The sound of the mill running is something we’ve all grown used to. It’s a busy place, especially after the harvest season when the trucks start lining up with loads of paddy. We spend our days making sure the machines are running right and the rice is being processed properly. It’s a lot of dust and noise, but it’s the kind of work that feels important. We aren’t some big industrial conglomerate; we’re just a local mill serving the community and the surrounding areas. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been with us for years. We don’t really bother with fancy websites or big advertisements. Most people just know where we are and what we do. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but usually, we’re working from dawn until it gets dark. The police station being so close makes the area feel safe, even late at night. We just try to do our job and keep the mill in good shape. It’s a basic business, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it all.
