Lavanya Gowri Fancy Store

My shop, Lavanya Gowri Fancy Store, is located at 75-33-2 on Mangalagiri Road in Mangaldas Nagar. It’s a place where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s not a big department store, just a neighborhood shop where I sell things like hair clips, bangles, thread, and small gifts. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know most of the women and kids who come in. The shop is a bit small, and sometimes I have boxes stacked on the floor because there’s no more room on the shelves. The light from the street comes in through the front, but in the evenings, I have to rely on a couple of tube lights that flicker once in a while. I don't have a computer to keep track of things; I just use an old notebook and a pen. It gets quite busy in the evenings when people are heading home and stop by for something they forgot. I try to keep everything organized, but with so many small items, it’s hard. Sometimes people come in just to chat for a few minutes while they look at the new stock. I don’t do any advertising. People just see the sign on Mangalagiri Road and walk in. It’s a simple way to make a living, and I enjoy being part of the community here. Every day is pretty much the same, but I like the routine.
