Engineer

So we are based in Chilakaluripet, which is a pretty busy spot if you know this part of Andhra Pradesh. Being an engineer here means you’re right in the middle of a lot of activity, especially with the highway and all the transport passing through. It’s a town that doesn’t really sleep much. Our place is simple, just a spot where we can get our work done without people bothering us too much. We don't have a fancy name or a big marketing budget, we just go by Engineer. It’s what we do and who we are. The weather can be a real challenge sometimes, especially when the heat hits in the summer months, but you get used to it. We usually start the day early before it gets too bright. There’s a lot of dust and noise from the traffic, but that’s just part of being in Chilakaluripet. We aren't trying to be some big multinational company. We are just local people who know how to build and fix things. Most of our days are spent on-site or at the desk looking over plans. If the tea stall nearby is open, we’re probably there for a few minutes catching up on the local news. It’s a very basic way of living and working, but it’s honest and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs finishing. No big fuss, just regular days at the office or out in the field.
