Ekashila Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated at Dno 8-30. We are a collective of local growers who realized a few years back that we could do more if we pooled our resources. Farming in our area can be unpredictable, so having a company structure helps us stay a bit more stable. We don't have a team of people in suits. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than behind a computer screen. We use our office space to coordinate who is growing what and when the trucks are coming to pick things up. It’s a very practical arrangement. We share tools and knowledge about what pests are hitting the crops this year or which fertilizer is actually worth the money. It’s about being neighborly and making sure nobody gets left behind when the market prices drop. Our address is a simple one, and our doors are usually open for any of the members who need to chat about their harvest. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. We just want to make sure the farming families in our group get a fair deal for the hard work they put in. It is a slow process of building things up, but we are okay with that. We are just local people looking out for each other and trying to make sure the next generation can still farm this land.
