Dhana Lakshmi Rice Traders

We have been here in Pedda Kani for quite a while now. Most days start early because that is when the trucks come in or people stop by before heading to their own work. We mostly deal with different types of rice bags that come from the local areas around here. It is a simple setup, just a space where we keep the stock and make sure everything stays dry. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty inside when we are moving the heavy sacks around, but that is just part of the job. You will usually find a couple of us sitting near the entrance checking the ledgers or talking to the drivers. We don't have fancy office chairs or anything like that. It’s just us and the rice. People from the village know where to find us if they need a few bags for a wedding or just for their home. We don’t do much advertising because everyone around Pedda Kani knows this spot anyway. The building has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit near the corner, but it stays cool inside which is good for the grains. We just try to keep things moving and make sure nobody leaves waiting too long. It’s a quiet life mostly, except when the harvest is in and things get really busy for a few weeks straight. We just keep doing what we do every day.
