Devisri Rice Traders

Devisri Rice Traders is our little business located at 6-512-4, Radham Bazar. We are right in the middle of the Coastal Andhra Region in a place called Duggirala. It is not a fancy place by any means. If you come by, you will mostly see piles of rice sacks and a few of us moving them around. The building at 6-512-4 is old but it works for what we need. Radham Bazar can get quite crowded, especially on market days. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who come in looking for a particular kind of grain. It gets dusty in the shop, which is just how it is when you deal with rice all day long. We don’t have a big corporate office or anyone in a suit. It is just a bunch of us wearing regular clothes and doing the work. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the street. Other days we are lifting heavy bags until our backs ache. Duggirala is a good town for this kind of trade because the farmers are nearby. We know a lot of the people who walk through our door. We do not use any big words to describe our work. We just sell rice and try to keep things simple. It is a plain way of living but it is ours. We have been here at 6-512-4 for years and plan to stay.
