Deccan Rice & General Stores

We have been here on Nandivelugu Road in Old Guntur for a good while now. Most people around the neighborhood know us for the different kinds of rice we keep in stock. It is Shop No. 1, right at the corner of the building. We do not just sell rice though, as there are plenty of general items on our shelves for daily use. It is a small place, but we try to keep the things that families need every single day. My father was the one who started this business, and now I am the one handling things day to day. The shop gets pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is out doing their grocery shopping. We have various varieties of rice stored in big sacks, and you can see them all lined up when you walk in. It is not a fancy supermarket or anything like that. Just a regular store where you can get what you need without a lot of fuss. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the road being so close, but we keep things moving along. We know most of our customers by their names because they live just a few streets away. If you are coming from the main road, it is very easy to find us. We open up early and stay open until the evening. We do not have a website, just the physical shop. If we do not have something today, we usually get it in by next week. (250 words)
