Champalal Babulal

The name of our business is Champalal Babulal. You can find us at 94-6-32 on Etkuru Road in Lalapet. This is a family-run place, named after my father and grandfather. We’ve been in this spot for many years, way before the road was as busy as it is today. We deal with various goods and trading. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else’s name. We don’t go in for fancy advertisements or big signs. People know where we are. Our building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some spots, but it’s sturdy. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stock and a small desk where we handle the money. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Lalapet is a good place for a business like ours because of the connection to Etkuru Road. We see a lot of different people coming through. Sometimes we sit out front and talk to the neighbors when things are slow. It’s not a fast-paced corporate life. We take our time and make sure the count is right. My sons are starting to learn the ropes now too. We just want to keep the family tradition going without making things too complicated. It’s just an honest day’s work in a neighborhood we’ve known forever and we plan to stay here for a long time yet.
