Our place is at 12-87-45 on Sai Baba Road in Venugopalnagar. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though the road gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We’ve got a regular routine here. The first one in usually puts the kettle on and opens up the windows to let some fresh air in before the sun gets too high. The office space is spread out across a couple of rooms. We’ve got shelves lining the walls, mostly filled with folders and reference books we’ve gathered over the years. The floor is that old grey stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside. We spend a lot of time looking over charts and checking our logs. It’s not the kind of place with bright lights or modern art on the walls. It’s functional. We have a small table in the back where we eat our lunch together most days, usually talking about what’s happening in the neighborhood or how the local cricket team is doing. Venugopalnagar is a decent place to be based. We are far enough from the main city chaos to get our work done but close enough that people can find us if they need to. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just another block on Sai Baba Road, but it’s where we put in our hours and keep the business running. It feels right for what we do.
