Amma Foods

We have been operating out of this spot near Alapati Nagaiah Grounds for a while now. Most people around Lanchester Road know where to find us because of the constant activity around the gates. Sangadigunta is a busy area, and we fit right in with the noise and the movement. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day work, making sure things are packed up and ready. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s a practical space where we focus on getting the food items sorted. Some days it gets quite hot here, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We started small, just a few of us trying to figure things out, and we’ve stayed that way for the most part. The neighbors are good people, and we see the same faces every morning. You might see us unloading crates or just sitting out front during a break. There isn't much to say other than we work hard and try to keep things moving. We deal with all sorts of food supplies, and there’s always a lot of lifting and moving around. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We like being in this part of town because it’s close to everything we need. Most of the time, the floor is covered in bags and the phone is ringing, which keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We like it.
