Tantnagar Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are a group of neighbors and farmers living around the Kheria Tangar and Pokria Toli areas of Tantnagar. Our small company was started because we realized that working alone in these fields was getting harder every year. We are based out of the Patra Sai area, and if you walk through Majhari, you will likely see us out in the dirt most mornings. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. We mostly meet up near the post office or at someone's house to talk about the crops. It is a quiet life here in this part of the world. We grow what the soil allows and try to help each other when the rains don't come on time. The sun gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually start our work before the light even fully hits the ground. Our hands are always dirty and our backs usually ache by the end of the day, but that is just the way it is for us. We aren't business experts with degrees. We are just people who know how to plant seeds and hope for a good harvest. We keep things very simple because that is all we know. Everyone in the village knows who we are. We just want to make sure that we can sell what we grow for a price that lets us keep our homes and feed our families. It is honest, hard work.
