We are based out of the Vasavadatta Cement staff colony in Sedam, which is in the Gulbarga district of Karnataka. Our office is located at quarter number D-41-B. It makes sense for a civil engineering firm like ours to be situated right here near the cement plant because that is where a lot of the action is. Gulbarga can get incredibly hot during the summer months, but we just get used to it and keep working. Our team is a mix of people who have been with the company for years and some newer folks. We don't have a big polished headquarters; we just use this space in the colony to manage our daily engineering tasks and site coordination. There’s always a bit of dust in the air, but that’s construction for you. We handle the technical details, the labor management, and the planning for various projects in this region. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is a nice change from the bigger cities. We don't really do the marketing thing. We just focus on the concrete and the drawings. People around the colony know us as the engineering guys. It’s a quiet life in Sedam for the most part, except when a big project is in full swing. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
