Our yard is right by the Gandhi Truck Terminal. You can't miss it if you're coming past the Alan Check Post on the Ring Road. It’s 3-7-869, but most people just look for the stacks of blocks. Classic Solid Blocks Of Industry has been around this part of the road for a while. It’s a dusty place, honestly. Between the trucks moving in and out of the terminal and our own machines, there’s always noise. We spend most of our time out in the sun moving things around. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The Ring Road stays busy all day and night. We see a lot of drivers stopping by. Some people think the name is a bit long, but it’s just what we’re called. We make the blocks right here. We don't buy them from somewhere else. It’s better that way because we can see what’s happening. Sometimes the rain slows us down, especially when the ground gets muddy near the check post. But we just wait it out and get back to it. There’s a tea stall nearby where we go when we need a break. It's a simple life here. We make blocks, we load them on trucks, and we start again the next day. No big office, just the yard and the equipment. It keeps us busy enough to not worry about much else.
