Our spot is at 3-6-92 in Nabi Colony, right off Aland Road. We do a lot of the building work ourselves or stay on-site to watch over things. It’s a bit of a dusty job, and our office usually reflects that. There are blueprints rolled up in every corner and samples of tiles or bricks sitting on the floor. We aren't the type to sit in suits all day. Most of the time, we are out on the road or checking on a project in the colony. It’s a growing area, so there’s always someone asking about new construction or when a wall is going to be finished. We started small, just doing bits and pieces of work for people we knew. Now we handle more, but it’s still the same basic process. You find a good spot, you figure out what can be built, and you try to get it done without too many delays. Things never go exactly as planned with construction, though. Rain happens, or the truck with the cement is late. We just deal with it as it comes. It's a practical business. We know the local guys who do the wiring and the plumbing, so that helps. People around Aland Road know where to find us if they need something fixed or built from scratch. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’ve been at it for years.
