Indus Software

Indus Software is tucked away at 141 Old Mahabalipuram Road. Everyone calls it OMR, and if you work in tech in this city, you probably spend a lot of time on this stretch of road. The commute can be a nightmare during peak hours, so most of us are used to the long crawls in traffic. Our office is just a regular place where we get our work done. We’ve got rows of computers and the usual office furniture that’s seen better days. We don’t have a big reception desk or anyone in a suit greeting you at the door. It’s mostly just us in our casual clothes, focused on whatever software project is currently on our plates. The building is okay, though the elevators can be a bit slow sometimes. We spend a lot of our time looking at code and discussing how to fix things that aren't working right. It’s a lot of trial and error, honestly. There’s a canteen nearby where we grab lunch, and that’s usually where we talk about stuff other than work. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just here to provide for our families and do the tasks we were hired for. It’s a practical environment. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and we’ve seen OMR grow and change around us. It’s just another day at the office for us, keeping things simple and functional. We just do the work and go home.
