S T S Transformers

Setting up S T S Transformers in the Ecotech-3 area of Greater Noida was a big step for us. The Udyog Kendra-2 section is mostly industrial, so we fit right in with the other workshops around here. Our space is usually full of heavy coils, copper wire, and the smell of oil. It is not a quiet place to work. We spend most of the day winding cores or checking the insulation on units that came in for repair. Being in Greater Noida 24 means we see a lot of nearby factory owners who have issues with their power setups. It is manual work and it gets your hands dirty every single day. We don't have a front desk person or a fancy lobby; you just walk into the main bay and talk to whoever isn't holding a welding torch at the moment. Some days are long, especially when a big transformer needs to be finished by morning. We use older machines alongside a few newer ones we picked up last year. The floor is concrete and usually has some stains from the coolant, but that's just how a workshop looks when it's being used. We don't try to sound bigger than we are. S T S Transformers is basically just a group of us who know how these things work inside and out. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves and try to keep the noise down for the neighbors when we can, though that's hard with the testing equipment running.
