S. B. Global

Our place is out in Site 5 of the UPSIDC Industrial Area. It’s Plot K-51. If you know this part of town, you know it gets quite dusty with all the trucks moving around all day. We’ve been operating out of this warehouse for a good bit now. S. B. Global is basically just a few of us working through the daily orders and keeping things organized. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff and shipping schedules. The roads around the industrial area aren't always the best, especially when it rains and the mud starts to build up, but we've gotten used to it over the years. Every morning starts with checking the inventory in the back. We have to make sure everything is where it should be before the big trucks arrive to load up. It's loud here sometimes because of the neighbors and their machinery, but that's just the industrial life. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure the crates are packed right for transport. I usually spend half my day on the phone with drivers or suppliers. The other half is spent on the floor checking the boxes and moving things around. It gets hot in the shed during the afternoons. We have a small office corner with a fan that barely works most days. But we get by. People come to us because we're right here in the mix of things. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that.
