We are over here at DLF Towers on Shivaji Marg. Most days it is pretty busy around the office at DSM-620. We deal with material handling stuff, which basically means we help people move heavy things from one spot to another. It is not glamorous work but it is what we know how to do. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow and we have to wait a while just to get to the office. Our team has been doing this for a bit now. We started small and just kept at it because there is always something that needs lifting or shifting in a warehouse. It is noisy sometimes when the phones start ringing all at once. We just try to get the orders right and make sure the gear works like it is supposed to. People come by the office and we talk about what they need for their factory floors. Shivaji Marg has changed a lot since we first got here. There are more shops and more traffic now. We usually have tea in the afternoon and talk about the jobs we have lined up for the next week. It is just a regular office full of people who understand how chains and pulleys and conveyors work. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. Just desks and some catalogs and some spare parts lying around. It works for us. That is the way things go at Expedient Material Handling India Private Limited.
