Wings Academy

If you go towards Tarange Crossing in Subhash Nagar, you’ll find Wings Academy near the Shani Mandir. We’ve been at this spot for a good while. It’s a busy corner of Gorakhpur. The academy isn't some glass building. It’s a regular place with classrooms that we’ve set up ourselves. We handle various subjects for the students who live around here. Sometimes the bells from the temple nearby remind us of the time. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us teaching and managing the day-to-day things. We keep the place clean and ready for the batches. Some kids come for morning sessions and others come after their school ends. We spend a lot of time writing on the boards and checking notebooks. It’s a lot of repetition, but that’s how learning happens. We don't use any fancy marketing slogans. We just tell parents what we cover and what the timings are. The traffic at Tarange Crossing can be a bit much during peak hours, so we tell everyone to be careful. We have students from different backgrounds, all trying to get through their exams. It’s just a simple, local academy. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the neighborhood. We just show up, teach, and go home, hoping the kids learned something new that day. We often have to fix the fans when they rattle. It gets hot here in the summer months.
