Agrasen Classes

Agrasen Classes is situated on Medical Road in the Aam Bazar area of Shahpur. It’s a busy part of Gorakhpur with a lot of people moving around. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. The building is part of a larger block, and we are tucked in behind some other shops. It isn't the easiest place to find the first time, but once you know where it is, it’s fine. We have a couple of classrooms that are pretty basic. No air conditioning here, just the overhead fans that we keep on high. The noise from Medical Road can be constant, especially with the ambulances and the local traffic, but the students don't seem to mind much. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people. It’s mostly just us doing everything from cleaning the boards to taking the fees. We use old-fashioned notebooks for everything. Some of the chairs are a bit wobbly, but they work. We started this because we live in Shahpur and wanted to do something useful in our own neighborhood. People just walk in and ask what we offer, and we tell them. It's an informal way of doing things, but it works for us and the families around here. It’s just a simple, local place where folks come to study together and get a bit ahead.
