The Kempinski,Leela Palace,Bangalore

It might seem a bit confusing with the name, but our actual location for this branch is over at E.W.S-9, Phase-1 in Raptinagar. That’s in Gorakhpur, 273001. We are associated with The Kempinski and Leela Palace, Bangalore, but we are right here in this part of Uttar Pradesh. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it's a bit quieter than the big city centers. We’ve got a small office here where we handle a lot of the back-end stuff that people don’t usually see. It’s not a grand palace with gold curtains or anything like that. It’s a functional space with a few desks and some filing cabinets. We spend our days on the phone or typing away on the computers. Sometimes the mail is late, and sometimes the local tea seller is the highlight of our afternoon. We just do our work and try to keep things organized. There are only a few of us here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. One minute you’re answering a call, the next you’re trying to fix the printer. It’s a bit of a distance from the Bangalore scene, but we keep connected through the systems. We don’t have a big lobby for visitors, just a simple entrance. It’s just how we operate in this branch. We show up, do what needs doing for the day, and head home when the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
