Over in Gorakhpur, specifically at Lane No. 2 in Saraswati Puram, Bichhiya, is where Swesha Infratech is located. The office is at Sushil Kumar Bharti’s place, so it’s got a very local, neighborhood feel to it that you won't find in a big city center. We aren’t some big company with a glass building and suits. We work right here where we live and know everyone around. Most of our time is spent managing various infratech projects around the city. Gorakhpur has changed a lot lately and there is construction happening everywhere you look these days. We deal with a lot of different vendors and laborers throughout the week to keep things moving. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure everyone is on the same page before we start a new phase. Sometimes the heavy rain slows everything down and we have to reschedule all our site visits for the week. We spend a good amount of time sitting around the table just trying to figure out the best way to handle a difficult project or a tight deadline. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, but you stop noticing it after a few months. We don’t use any big words or fancy talk; we just tell people how things are going. If a job is going to take longer than expected, we tell them straight. We try to keep things honest because that’s the only way to work in a community like this. It's a busy life.
