Our business, Sumaya Infracon, is based at number 547 in Haider Ganj, over in the New Colony area of Jungle Dhusar. Gorakhpur is a big place, but this little corner of Uttar Pradesh is where we’ve set up our roots. The pin code is 273014 if you are looking for us. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood, though things have been getting busier lately with more people moving into the New Colony. We don't have a big corporate headquarters with glass walls. Our office is just a practical space where we can store our files and meet with the guys who work on the sites. Jungle Dhusar has its own pace, and we try to stick to that. We don't believe in using fancy words to describe what we do. We just handle construction and infrastructure projects for the local area. Some days are long, especially when the weather in Gorakhpur gets really hot or it starts raining and the sites get messy. We just take it as it comes. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We aren't looking to become some giant company. We just want to keep working here in Haider Ganj and do a decent job for the people who hire us. Every day is a bit different, but that is what keeps the work interesting.
