Study Classes

Study Classes is situated near Digvijaynath Degree College in the Golghar area of Gorakhpur. We’ve been here for a bit, and it’s a good spot because of all the activity around the college. The street outside is usually lined with parked bikes and people talking. Our office is just a plain room with a few desks and some old filing cabinets that don't always close properly. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just a calendar on the wall and maybe a clock that’s a few minutes slow. We spend a lot of our morning just getting things ready and making sure the floor is swept. It gets pretty hot in the summer, so we have a couple of fans that stay on all day. They make a lot of humming noise, but you stop noticing it after a while. We do all our own record-keeping by hand in big ledgers. It takes more time, but it’s how we’ve always done it. Sometimes people drop by just to chat or ask for directions, and we don’t mind. It’s a friendly enough neighborhood. We usually close up when it starts getting dark, making sure all the lights are off and the door is locked tight. It’s just a normal, everyday job for us, and we try to keep things running as smoothly as we can without any unnecessary fuss or bother.
