Student Coaching Centre

Started on Jubali Road. It's just a simple place for students to come after their school day is over. We have a couple of rooms here in Gorakhpur. The fans make a bit of noise but they keep the place cool enough in the summer. It isn’t fancy at all. We just have some wooden benches and a big whiteboard that we bought a few years back. Most of the kids who come here live nearby, so they just walk or bring their cycles. You’ll usually see a bunch of bicycles parked out front in the afternoons. Sometimes the traffic on Jubali Road gets a bit loud, especially around five o’clock, but we just close the door and keep going with the lessons. We teach mostly math and science because that’s what everyone asks for. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially when exams are coming up and everyone is stressed out. I spend a lot of time cleaning the chalk dust off the floor and making sure there’s enough water in the cooler for everyone. It’s just how things are here. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the subjects well. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it works for us. We’ve been here for a while now and people know where to find us. It's just a regular part of the neighborhood. We don't really do anything special besides the teaching.
