Popular Agucation Center

Popular Agucation Center is right near Char Fatak. If you live in Gorakhpur, you know that area is always moving. The railway crossing is right there, so we hear the trains passing by quite often. It becomes a bit of a rhythm for us after a while. The center itself is just a few rooms we rented out. We have these heavy wooden tables that we moved in ourselves. They’re solid, though they have some scratches on them from years of use. It’s a practical place. We don’t have any decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map. Students come here after their regular school is finished. Most of them are tired when they arrive, so we try to get straight to the work. We have a small area where they can leave their bags. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that hum. It’s simple, and it works for what we need. Sometimes we have to move the benches around to make space for more people. The address at Char Fatak is easy for everyone to find, which is good. We’ve been doing this for a long time, just helping kids with their lessons every day. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do here. There isn't much to it besides that, really. It keeps us quite busy.
