Patna Classes

Patna Classes is located right in front of Dig Bangla here in Gorakhpur. It’s a well-known landmark, so most people don’t have trouble finding us. We’ve been running classes from this building for quite some time now. It’s a very straightforward setup. We have rows of benches and enough boards for all the rooms. We don’t really go for anything fancy or decorative. The focus is just on the lessons. Every day starts with cleaning up the chalk dust and getting the papers ready. We deal with a lot of students who are trying to get into better colleges or just pass their current grades. It’s a lot of hard work for them. We sit with them, go over the chapters, and try to make sense of the difficult parts. The area around Dig Bangla is usually quite active, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve learned to just ignore it and focus on the books. We aren't part of some big national chain. This is just our local business. We know the families around here and they know us. Sometimes we have to be a bit strict to keep the discipline, but that’s part of the job. We don’t have any fancy signs or slogans hanging on the walls, just the daily routine of teaching and learning in the 273001 area. It’s what we do, and we’ve been doing it for years. The floor is concrete and we sweep it twice a day.
