Our company, Maa Kamakhyadevi Enggicon Private Limited, is situated in Barahua, within the GIDA area of Gorakhpur. GIDA is where a lot of the industrial and engineering action happens in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We have been around this area for a while and have seen the changes in Khajani over the years. Our team mainly deals with engineering and construction jobs. We spend a lot of time on-site, getting our boots dirty and making sure things are being built the way they were supposed to be. The office is just a place to keep the tools and the blueprints. We aren't really the type of people who like sitting behind a desk all day. We prefer being out where the work is actually happening. Gorakhpur has a lot of potential and we are just glad to have a part in the building process. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the work really tough, but the guys are used to it. We take our breaks together and talk about the next steps. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure we don't make mistakes that we'll regret later. People around here know us for being regular, hardworking folks. We don't make big promises we can't keep; we just take on the work we know we can finish. That’s how we have always done things here.
