Bharat Arts has been sitting on Sumer Sagar Road in the Golghar area for quite some time now. If you know the neighborhood, you know it can get pretty hectic with the traffic. We’ve got our small space where we do all our work. It’s not a large studio with bright lights, just a regular place where we keep our supplies and finished pieces. Most of the day is spent with brushes, paint, or whatever materials we are using at the moment. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. People from around Golghar usually just walk in when they need something done. The sign outside is a bit old, but everyone knows it’s us. Sumer Sagar Road is always moving, so we see a lot of people through the window. We don't do much advertising; word travels fast enough around here. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we have so much stuff piled up, but we know where everything is. It’s an honest way to make a living. We work on things one at a time. It’s quiet inside compared to the street outside. We just focus on the art and the customers who have been coming to us for years. If you are looking for the shop, just head toward Golghar and you’ll find us easily. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We keep the doors open and stay busy most days.
