Cozy Flowers

You can find us at Shop Number-4 in the Rastogi Complex. We are right there in Shahpur, Gorakhpur. Cozy Flowers isn't a huge place, just a small shop filled with the smell of whatever came in fresh that morning. We get up early to pick out the stems from the market. It’s mostly roses, lilies, and whatever else is in season. People come in for all sorts of reasons. Some are happy, like for a birthday, and others are buying for a funeral. We just trim the stems and wrap them up in paper or plastic. It’s a messy job sometimes with all the water and leaves on the floor. My hands usually have a few scratches from the thorns. We don’t have a fancy website or anything, just the shop where people drop by. We’ve been in Shahpur for a bit now, and the neighbors are friendly. Sometimes someone just wants a single flower, and that’s fine too. We try to keep the flowers fresh as long as possible, but in this heat, it’s a constant battle with the buckets and the fans. If you need a bouquet for a wedding or just something for your table at home, we’re usually here. It’s a quiet life, surrounded by colors and plants. We just do our best with what the garden gives us each day and hope the flowers last long enough for the customers who buy them.
