Cafe Coffee Day

We've been here in Gorakhpur for a while now. Most people know where the shop is because it's right in the 273001 area of Uttar Pradesh. We mostly just focus on making coffee and giving folks a place to sit for a bit when they're out in the city. It gets busy in the afternoons especially when the sun is high. People stop by on their way to work or just to meet up with friends after they finish their chores. We keep the chairs tidy and make sure the machine is running okay because it can be temperamental sometimes. It’s not a huge place but it works for what we need. Sometimes the internet is fast, sometimes it isn't, but that's just how it goes. We just try to get the orders out right so nobody is waiting too long at the counter. Gorakhpur can get pretty hot so the air conditioning is usually running full blast most of the day. We have a few regulars who come in every single morning for the same thing and they don't even have to tell us their order anymore. It's nice seeing the same faces. The staff here mostly lives nearby so we know the neighborhood pretty well. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just coffee and some snacks if you're hungry. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters and making sure everything looks decent for when the doors open in the morning. If you are walking around and need a seat, we are usually around and open for business.
