Bachpan A Play School

Our little play school is tucked away in the Jaiswal Compound at Paidleganj. Being at Malti Niwas gives it a bit of a home feeling which is good for the small children who come here. Gorakhpur can be a busy city, but inside our gates, it is mostly just toddlers running around and playing with blocks. We started this because we wanted a safe spot for kids to spend their mornings. You can usually hear singing or maybe some crying when a new student first starts. That is just part of the job. We have colorful walls and a few toys that have seen better days but the kids still love them. The staff here are locals who know the families in the neighborhood. We do not do anything too complicated. It is mostly about getting the children used to being around others. We eat snacks, draw pictures, and learn the alphabet. Sometimes the parents wait outside if their child is having a tough day. We try to keep things simple and honest. It is a lot of noise and energy every day from morning until noon. We do not have fancy brochures or websites. People usually hear about us from their neighbors or friends. It is just a small place in Gorakhpur where we look after the little ones while their parents are busy at work. We like seeing them grow up and head off to big school.
